Saudi Arabia’s Central Bank
Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the central bank of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was established in 1372H (1952). It has been entrusted with performing many functions pursuant to several laws and regulations.
ID Works won the tender for the prestigious new office design and office fit-out for the new Head Quarters for SAMA – Saudi Arabia’s Central Bank at the futuristic new city King Abdulla Financial District – KAFD in Riyadh. The project comprised over 7,500 sq.m. spread across 7 floors and was awarded on a turnkey design and build basis.

Designing the interiors focused on the main objectives being brilliance in efficient space planning and more importantly workplace wellness for staff. The result was success at best practice office design creating a vibrant, energising yet clear collaborative empowerment across all levels of the organisation. Informal specialised collaborative work areas were designed and much appreciated by the staff for quick meetings to take place with their clients and amongst departments.
Modern LED lighting helped with the acoustic ceiling and office interiors. Superb ergonomics and intelligent privacy aspects within an open plan concept was achieved with the usage of meeting pods. The project was completed in record time of just over 4 months and ID Works received an award of appreciation for high quality office fit-out, timely delivery and superior service for the new office workplace.
